Location: Birmingham Notes: Greggs has entered a consultation period with staff at the site, which it has proposed transforming from a bakery into a ‘logistics centre of excellence’. Staff are reported to have said they fear up to 140 jobs could be lost. Greggs has stressed the site is not closing, and said the centre would have capacity to serve more than 400 shops. |
