Investigators say they were called to MacFarlane Road around 1:30 a.m. where they found a man and woman had been shot. The couple's son alerted the authorities. Police say 54-year-old Touni Marina shot and killed his wife, Safaa Marina, 53, before turning the gun on himself. Description: Four teenagers have been charged after pellet gun shots were fired at a home in Lowertown on the weekend. Police were called to a home on Nelson Street just before 10:00 p.m. Sunday. The home was damaged, but no one was reported hurt. Officers pulled the suspect vehicle over on the Vanier Parkway at 12:45 a.m. Monday and arrested seven people. Two men were reportedly running through Overbrook, shooting at each other. Two vehicles were hit by bullets, one of which was occupied. However, no one was hurt. A male suspect was arrested by RCMP officers about a block away, a short time after the shooting. Police say a loaded handgun and about $5500 worth of drugs (oxycontin, crack, and cocaine) were seized. Shooting: 19 Shooting or shots fired?: Injuries Date: 02/25/2018 Location: 345 Carleton Ave, Ottawa, ON K1Y 0K3 Description: Ontario’s SIU is investigating the shooting death of a 25-year-old man in the Wellington West neighbourhood. Ottawa Police responded to calls at the Metro grocery store on Carleton Avenue, just one block east of Island Park Drive around 6:45 p.m. Sunday evening. Police were told a man was in the store branding a weapon. Ottawa Paramedics say they treated two patients, one of them, a man in his 40's was suffering from 'significant' stab wounds and sent to hospital. The other patient, a woman in her 50's suffered minor injuries. Police located the man in the alleyway near the grocery store. The SIU says there was an “interaction” between the man and officers, and one of the officers discharged a firearm multiple times. The man was pronounced dead in hospital.
