Originally, Elijah Yusiff said that Winstead was killed in a drive-by shooting while the two were on their way to Yusiff's house. After further investigation, it was discovered that Yusiff accidentally shot Winstead inside his house and carried his body outside. Yusiff was charged with involuntary manslaughter and sent to a juvenile facility in Orefield, Lehigh County. Yusiff's mother, Angelina DeAbreu, attempted to clean up blood at the crime scene with bleach, hiding the gun and deleting phone records. She pleaded guilty to hindering the investigation.<br>
